We are currently hiring for Full Time Director of Admissions!
Job Objective/ Summary
The Director of Admissions is responsible for managing and directing the admissions process for the facility.
Essential Functions
- Manage the admissions and inquiry process by maintaining updated bed availability and facility services information at all times.
- Makes sales calls outside the facility to medical, insurance, legal and financial professionals, senior organizations, appropriate special interest groups, hospital discharge planners and other community contacts.
- Ensure appropriate admission papers and signatures are obtained from residents or responsible parties prior to admission.
- Compile and distribute admission papers and ensure all papers are properly filled out and input into the system.
- Coordinates with the nursing and business departments to ensure appropriate resident placement.
- Maintain a working knowledge of federal and state regulations, reimbursement, and Medicare and Medicaid regulations.
- Help expedite admissions process for emergencies.
- Receive calls regarding information about the Estates Health Care Center and referrals for admission to the Manor or Villa.
- Report all inquiries, admissions, and discharges.
- Conduct Health Center tours to interested parties.
Requirements
- Must successfully pass the mandated criminal background checks.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
- Must be able to pass the pre-employment reference checks.
- Must be able to provide official grade transcripts of the education level provided on the employment application.
- Must be able to provide a copy of his/her own social security card for W-4 documentation.
- Must be able to provide applicable documentation(s) for I-9 in order to establish identity and authorization to work in the U.S

Pay: $24.00 per hour
