Description
The Director, National Accounts will profitably drive sales for assigned accounts by developing and pursuing opportunities via advertising, marketing, dotcom, merchandising, inventory management and events. Form meaningful partnerships with retailer counterparts and instill confidence with overall knowledge and understanding of the retailer and the business.
Conduct in⁃depth sales analysis to understand nuances and trends of the business and extract actionable insights to further propel retail and net sales. Accurately forecast retail sales by channel by week and revise the estimate monthly to reflect plans and trend.
Overall Strategy Development and Deployment Drive consumer and brand growth strategically and operationally. Create account⁃specific strategies for brand across areas of responsibility to include all brick and mortar and retailer.com channels.
Ensure alignment with corporate, NA and brand strategies. Top⁃notch strategy execution and integrated approach across all keyfunctional areas for goal attainment.
Lead market development with focus on synthesizing and articulating needs of account in product development, education, digital, creative, marketing and visual merchandising.
Develop retail sales objectives, plans, and programs.
Develop and strengthen retailer relationships.
Lead activities associated with new doors and launches.
Marketing, Advertising and Events
Work with retailer buying team to pursue on and off air bundles & offers, digital and in⁃store marketing and advertising opportunities and ensure maximum exposure.
Work with buying team, VM team and field to plan and execute seasonal major events in top markets and digitally.
Work with buyer on potential corporate & in⁃store brand⁃building opportunities
Oversee sampling programming and execution.

Craft appropriate media / investment strategy for the business, via both brand⁃ and retailer⁃owned channels.
Develop dotcom growth strategies through 360 marketing plans, product page optimization, and implementing / investing in impactful conversion⁃driving and traffic⁃driving tactics.
Pursue strategic opportunities to ensure maximum media exposure.
Merchandising
Initiate all seasonal gondola VM
updates, working with marketing and VM to ensure all updates are executed in a timely manner with attention paid to the time constraints of marketing exposures.
Review product assortment and sales to determine what assortment changes will positively impact sales while remaining profitable.
Pursue meaningful secondary in⁃store visual opportunities.
Sales Analysis
Create seasonal corporate sales plans for launches in conjunction with product marketing.
Analyze sales, product and mix trend to determine future course of action.
Generate insightful business analysis weekly / monthly and be able to fluently speak to the current and future state of the business, along with plans to address any risks / gaps.
Work with planner to ensure inventory availability and strategy support.
Communication
Instill confidence in retailer partners with overall demeanor, knowledge of the business, and understanding / command of all current and future plans.
Initiate regular calls and meetings with buying teams to review all business opportunities and issues.
Participate in calls and meetings with field and education partners to review all updates, business opportunities, and address open issues. P&L Management
Manage and fluently understand opex, retail and net sales budgets.
Submit monthly estimates for retail sales and expenses.
Deliver to NOP commitments by managing expenses vs. sales.
Qualifications
Minimum Education Level : Bachelor's Degree
