As a Project Manager, you'll be at the heart of our growth, managing projects across all aspects of our operations and making an impact on the transformation of our healthcare manufacturing startup into a thriving corporate operation. This is your chance to roll up your sleeves and lead diverse projects—whether routine, complex, or entirely unique—while shaping our trajectory in the healthcare space.
If you’ve worked in a high-growth startup and are ready to apply your experience in a rapidly scaling environment, this is the opportunity you’ve been waiting for. You’ll be our go-to project expert who can navigate shifting priorities, lead cross-functional teams, and keep everything running smoothly as we build something incredible together.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Versatile Project Leadership: Manage a variety of projects across different areas of operations, from standard and repeatable projects to complex, high-stakes initiatives that require creative problem-solving and flexibility.
- Startup to Corporate Transition Specialist: Use your experience from high-growth startups to help guide our company through its evolution from agile startup to structured corporate powerhouse.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work across all functions—R&D, quality, operations, compliance, and more—to ensure project goals are met and initiatives stay on track.
- Stakeholder Management: Communicate with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring that expectations are clear, aligned, and consistently met throughout each project lifecycle.
- Agility in Action: Stay nimble and adaptive as you manage shifting priorities, reset expectations when needed, and handle the evolving demands of a growing company.
- Operational Excellence: Lead process improvements to enhance the efficiency of project delivery, reduce roadblocks, and elevate the overall project management practice.
- Risk Management Guru: Identify potential risks early and develop mitigation strategies to keep projects on time and within budget.
- Regulatory Champion: Ensure that all projects comply with relevant healthcare manufacturing regulations, including FDA standards and ISO certifications.
- Dynamic Problem Solver: Tackle challenges head-on, leading teams through complex project scenarios and delivering creative solutions that keep progress moving forward.
- Road Warrior (Sometimes): Travel up to 20% domestically to attend meetings, conferences, and support business initiatives as necessary.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Versatility: You’re familiar with managing diverse types of projects and can pivot between standard, non-standard, and complex project scenarios with ease.
- Startup Savvy: You’ve worked for a high-growth startup, ideally participated in scaling from startup to corporate, and understand the unique challenges and opportunities of fast-paced environments.
- Cross-Disciplinary Expertise: You have a comprehensive understanding of operations, from product development to regulatory compliance and everything in between.
- Excellent Communication & Leadership: You know how to engage stakeholders, lead cross-functional teams, and keep everyone aligned and motivated toward common goals.
- Adaptability: Your experience managing competing priorities, resetting expectations, and navigating shifting project scopes has made you a master at keeping projects on track in dynamic environments.
- Problem-Solving Pro: You thrive when challenges arise and have a proven track record of developing creative solutions that drive project success.
Your Background:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Certifications: PMP certification (required); Lean Six Sigma (Green, Yellow, or Black) a plus.
- Experience: 5 years of project management experience, preferably within a high-growth startup, medical device manufacturing, or a related industry.
- Proven Growth Experience: Ideally, you’ve been part of a team that’s successfully navigated the growth from startup to corporate structure.
- Strong Project Management Skills: You’re familiar with all aspects of project management and have a strong understanding of project management tools and methodologies (Smartsheet, Jira, Monday, Asana, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project).
