Job Summary :
At The Event Group Catering, our sales department builds relationships with our current and future clients. From identifying potential leads to nurturing existing client relationships, they play an integral role in the success of our company. We are seeking a sales professional who has a passion for events. Our ideal candidate would be friendly, organized and strive for customer satisfaction. This sales position offers a competitive salary, benefits, approximately 1 month of paid vacation and bonuses.
Responsibilities :
- Corporate sales to assigned customers and potential clients.
- Maintain a working knowledge of and a close relationship with local venues, planners and other vendors.
- Create bids / proposals in company software program.
- Facilitate events from start to finish (placing orders, scheduling rentals, scheduling and conducting tastings, attending site visits and creating timelines and event instructions.
- Act as supervisor and general overseer of events to ensure the client's wishes plus serving as the liaison between the event staff and the client / venue / planner.
