Evergreen Market is hiring a Assistant Purchaser to help keep our stores stocked with the best products for our customers!
The Assistant Purchaser at Evergreen Market will be responsible for supporting the Purchaser with ordering products across all categories, specifically to meet customer needs. They will also ensure timely deliveries by managing vendor relationships, monitoring stock levels, and coordinating with the Inventory and Operations teams to ensure the best customer experience across all stores. Key Responsibilities :
- Maintains accounts and inventory levels by managing and creating purchase orders for a subset of vendors across all locations
- Generate and send purchase orders for required inventory, specifying quantities, delivery dates, and product specifications.
- Monitor purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of product to stores and address any potential issues with suppliers.
- Analyze sales data and forecast demand to determine optimal inventory levels for each product.
- Work closely with the Marketing and Inventory teams to ensure adequate stock levels for upcoming promotions and holidays.
- Support our promotional calendar by collaborating with Marketing Associate and Purchaser on inventory needs and requesting creative assets from vendor partners.
- Hands-on execution of special projects that directly affect the IC department and purchasing flow.
- Support teams through process and procedure changes required by LCB or internal needs.
- Partners with Inventory Operations Lead for inventory adjustments (shrink, destruction, returns, etc.)
- Works with inventory and operations / store teams on discount requests and other aged inventory processes.
- Identify and report patterns in aged inventory for suggestions on adjustments.
- Performs other duties as needed
