Position Information Position Title Part-Time Adjunct, Public Administration Tribal Governance Job Summary The Evergreen State College Master of Public Administration Program seeks a qualified adjunct faculty members to teach Tribal Governance "Public Policy, Budgeting and Financial Management in its first-year core program. The successful candidate will teach in a sequence of 6-credit courses scheduled during evening and weekend hours as part of a teaching team. To learn more about Evergreen’s MPA program, please visit Job Expectations Master of Public Administration adjunct faculty will typically teach one or more 2 quarter hour or 4 quarter hour elective MPA courses. Typical course enrollment will be approximately 15 graduate students for elective MPA courses.
Our teaching is student-centered, which means we are interested in helping students develop strong skills in critical thinking, problem solving, communication and collaborative work. Because many of our students come from underserved and marginalized groups, we are particularly invested in approaches to teaching that emphasize diversity and equity, that provide opportunities for challenge and growth, and that foster a learning environment where all are welcome and all can learn from each other.

Minimum Qualifications Experience in teaching graduate-level courses in public administration or related field OR two or more years of professional experience in public administration Preferred Qualifications
- Masters or Ph.D. in public administration or related field
