The Evie (Steaks, Fish, Sushi) is on Michigan Ave. and is looking to hire a Sous Chef.
We are seeking career minded sous chefs who have knowledge, creativity, and a high level of awareness for quality of ingredients and attention to detail. While staying focused on creating a gracious and professional dining experience for our guests.
Requirements:
Experience maintaining an inventory
Knowledge of different food vendors and how to order.
Knife skills (fish butchery)
Ability to read and follow recipes
Communication with staff to implement quality control standards
Punctuality for morning and evening shifts
2yrs minimum experience as a sous chef
Highly Motivated Team Player
Health advocate: awareness to dietary allergy restrictions
Salary : $65,000 - $75,000
