Title : Senior .Net Developer
Work Location : Austin, TX (Onsite)
Contract Duration : 8 months
Requires Skills :
Years of senior-level work experience and knowledge in analysing software application systems workflow processes to identify environment efficiencies and improvements
Years of experience root cause analysis and resolution
Years of experience in leading the design and development of web-based software applications
Years of experience programming in various coding languages including but not limited to : .Net, HTML, HTML5, ASP, Java, JSP, .NET / C#, front end and back-end user interface methodologies technologies, SQL, and stored procedures
Years of experience independently performing a variety of complicated SDLC related tasks at all phases of the SDLC
Years of experience in software application administration and management
Years of experience in leading SDLC projects from scope to deployment including coordinating with organizational change control boards and release schedules
Years of experience and proficiency in web programming using code languages : .NET / C#, JavaScript, HTML, CSS SQL, Stored Procedures, Oracle, and SQL Server
Years of experience with Agile SDLC methodology
Years of experience in cross-team collaboration for requirements gathering and software development, modifications, and maintenance
Years of experience in programming and implementing software application modifications to accommodate information security requirements and network security integrity
Years of experience leading and directing SDLC teams including code validation and approval of fellow programmers
Years of experience in technical writing and documentation of environment and network changes and release notes
Years of experience in presenting in-person software application demonstrations for the purposes of seeking customer approval of proposed design
Masters degree, or higher
Years of experience using Azure Dev Ops, Jira, or similar
Years of experience with building Azure CI / CD pipelines and deployments
Responsibilities :
Performs highly advanced senior-level computer programming work.
Write, test, debug, and document complex programs, including client / server and web-based applications using C# (.Net), MVC, and SQL including stored procedures.
Develop and provide web metrics and other statistical reports to requestors. Analyze the reports to help determine improvements in site layout.
Provide support of Texas Department of Agriculture applications software through diagnosis of problems and implementation of changes to resolve problems and maintain software at the most current level.
Perform research and analysis required specialized programs or routines to supplement and enhance front and back-end web-based applications software using HTML, HTML5, ASP.NET / C#
Work closely and coordinate with systems analysts, architects, and various business areas to gather / validate requirements, understand technical issues, limitations and model solutions that meet the functional and technical requirements.
Provides technical advice, assistance, and recommendations in matters related to programming operations & problems.
Perform other duties as assigned.
