The Excalibur Group is currently seeking AV Technicians to support a local contract in the Washington, DC.

SUMMARY
As an AV Technician, you will play a crucial role in the installation, maintenance, and support of audiovisual systems. You will work closely with clients, vendors, and team members to ensure seamless operation and high-quality performance of AV equipment. This position requires a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, production experience, and excellent customer service. Note this role will be responsible for leading all production coordination, AV event management, Board Meetings, Executive Meetings, and daily AV activities.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Install, configure, test, and provide technical support to audiovisual equipment to include
- projectors, laptops, desktops, sound systems, video conferencing systems, content
- management systems and digital displays.
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of AV systems to ensure optimal
- performance.
- Provide technical support to clients and end-users, resolving AV and basic PC/MAC related issues promptly and efficiently.
- Collaborate with project managers, Vendors, and other team members to plan and execute
- AV events, meetings, installations, and upgrades.
- Perform site surveys to assess AV needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Document all installations, configurations, and maintenance activities.
- Stay up to date with the latest AV technologies and industry trends.
- Train clients and end-users in the operation and maintenance of AV equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and best practices in all AV-related activities.
- Other organizational technology project duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or AVIXA certification in audiovisual
- technology preferred.
- Proven experience with at least 1 year as an AV Technician or in a similar role.
- Advanced knowledge of current enterprise conferencing software (e.g., Teams, Zoom,
- Webex)
- Experience with AV control systems (e.g., Crestron, AMX, Extron, Shure).
