In this role, you will:
- Lead on-site operations during events to meet timelines and client expectations.
- Manage union labor, including scheduling and supervision, to ensure efficient show execution.
- Create and review labor budgets, attending finance meetings to align with projections.
- Coordinate equipment needs, including reservations and confirmations.
- Verify event logistics, such as move-in/out schedules, with project managers.
- Manage transportation schedules for event equipment in collaboration with warehouse teams.
- Represent The Expo Group at client and internal meetings to resolve operational challenges.
- Process work orders and payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Educational Foundation: High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience: 4-5 years in tradeshow operations with expertise in venue coordination, freight logistics, and floor plan management.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and the ability to learn internal systems like Expo Cube and CoPro.
- Skills:
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
- Effective communication skills for diverse audiences.
- Proven problem-solving skills in fast-paced environments.
- Proficiency with forklifts, scissor lifts, and boom lifts is a plus.
