Are you ready to lead graphic production for high-profile events and trade shows? The Expo Group is seeking a Graphic Project Manager to oversee the end-to-end process of graphic design, production, and installation for corporate events and trade shows. Based in Irving, Texas or Las Vegas, Nevada, this role will be pivotal in managing timelines, client relationships, and ensuring that all projects meet client expectations and company standards.
In this role, you will:
- Meet with Project Managers and clients to discuss project details, including scope, specific needs, deadlines, and design elements.
- Enter work orders and manage production timelines, ensuring alignment with renderings, BOMs, and layouts.
- Attend meetings and conference calls with internal and external clients, providing updates and status projections.
- Monitor proof turnaround times and production work order entries, ensuring accuracy in materials, quantities, and priorities.
- Oversee edits and manage approval status for graphic proofs, production materials, and structure items to keep the project on track.
- Travel to events to manage onsite labor and monitor the graphic installation process.
- Educational Foundation: Associate degree in graphic arts or a related field (equivalent experience may substitute for education).
- Experience: 1–2 years of supervisory or management experience, plus 1–2 years in customer service.
- Credentials: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook), Adobe Acrobat, and Adobe Illustrator. Knowledge of Photoshop and InDesign is preferred.
- Key Skills:
- Strong understanding of graphic production processes and construction drawings.
- Detail-oriented in proofreading, typesetting, spelling, and grammar.
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills for liaising with clients, vendors, and internal teams effectively.
- Ability to adapt to changing project needs and collaborate across teams.
