What are the responsibilities and job description for the Optometric Technician position at The Eye Center, Doctors of Optometry, PA?
Looking for an energetic and bright technician for both front desk and preliminary testing
-Experience is great, but we are willing to train
-General knowledge of eye anatomy
-Ability to multitask
-Computer literate
-Great communication skills
-Excellent attention to detail
-Schedule appointments
-Answer multiple phone lines
-Quick learner
-Greet patients
-Conduct preliminary testing
-Manage patient flow
-Gathering patient medical history
-Contact lens training
-Previous experience verifying ins and billing and filing would be greatly appreciated
Ability to travel to the Cary and Raleigh locations is a plus!
We are open 7 days a week so some weekends are required
Pay depends on experience
