Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in both outpatient and inpatient settings, including clinics and specialized departments such as dermatology and pediatrics. Responsibilities
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments.
- Perform basic life support and emergency procedures as needed.
- Administer medications and manage medication schedules for patients.
- Document patient histories, vital signs, and other relevant information accurately.
- Prepare patients for examinations by explaining procedures and calming anxieties.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinic or treatment area.
- Manage patient flow, and ensure timely service delivery.
- Support the healthcare team in providing care to geriatric patients as well as those in the PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit).
Requirements
- Certification as a Medical Assistant or equivalent training is preferred.
- Experience in an outpatient clinic or inpatient setting is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with ophthalmology practices is a plus.
- Knowledge of basic life support techniques is required.
- Strong communication skills and ability to provide excellent patient service.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations, including geriatrics.
- Proficiency in medication administration protocols.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures within the medical surgical field.

Pay: $18.00 - $19.50 per hour
