The Eye Center of Natchez is looking for an experienced and dependable ophthalmic assistant to join our team.
This is a full time position, Monday through Friday.

Job Summary:
This position will be responsible for performing an extensive number of data collection functions as delegated by the physician to allow for proper professional diagnosis of patients' conditions. Also to provide chair-side doctor assistance, perform diagnostic tests as required by the ophthalmologist, and administer treatment as allowed and ordered by the doctor.

- Perform accurate and consistent documentation and measurements tasks

- Perform duties consistent with ophthalmic scribe
Education and experience
- High school diploma or GED (Required), college degree preferred
- Medical office experience
- Basic computer skills
- English and mathematical skills
- Experience working in a professional, fast-paced environment (Preferred)
- HIPPA compliance

Pay: $11.00 - $14.00 per hour
