The Eye Clinic of North Dakota, located in Bismarck & Mandan, ND, is currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Ophthalmic Medical Technician to join our team full-time. As an Ophthalmic Technician at our clinic, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and assisting our ophthalmologists in various procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist ophthalmologists in performing eye exams, diagnostic tests, and minor surgical procedures
- Take detailed patient medical histories and perform initial screenings
- Administer eye medications as directed by the ophthalmologist
- Conduct appropriate testing as ordered by the ophthalmologist including fundus photos, OCT scans, and other diagnostic tests
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an Ophthalmic Technician is preferred
- Certification as an Ophthalmic Assistant is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
