We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Supervisor to join our team at The Eye Institute of West Florida. As a key member of our surgery center, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the OR, ensuring that all procedures run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage the preparation and turnover of ORs for surgical procedures.
- Ensure that all necessary equipment and supplies are available and functioning properly.
- Supervise and train OR staff, including nurses, technicians, and anesthesia providers.
- Monitor and report any issues or concerns related to patient care or safety.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience as an OR supervisor or nurse manager.
- Experience working in an Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) or similar setting is preferred.
- Must have current RN licensure and BCLS certification.
- Strong communication and leadership skills are essential for this role.
