Contract Attorney Family Law

The FAB Law Firm, LLC is a boutique high-end Fathers’ Right family law. Our firm is committed to excellence and exceptional client service.

We are looking for an experienced family law Attorney to join our busy firm in New York City.

The ideal candidate should have the following qualities:

*Strong communication skills
*Self-motivated and excels in a fast-paced work environment
*Able to work closely with our legal team

Attorney will handle all aspects of representation including but not limited to the following:

- Responsible for individual caseload;
- Lead attorney for bench and jury trials;
- Oral argument in contested and uncontested court hearings and appearances;
- Negotiating settlements;
- Formatting documents;
- Preparation of pleadings, motions, discovery and other legal documents;
- Drafting of letters and other general administrative documents;
- Docketing;
- Conducting consultations;
- Drafting legal memorandum;
- Legal research;
- Clerical duties;

You will be assigned a managing role on several family law matters. You will be the primary point of contact on cases assigned to you from start to completion.

Qualifications:

• 3 to 5 years’ experience in Family Law Litigation experience, including hearings and court appearances.
• Must have trial experience
• Must be highly proficient in working with clients and managing a litigation and caseload
• Work in a fast-paced high pressure environment
• Excellent negotiation skills

Education/Training: Undergraduate & J.D. Required

Working as a family law attorney at The FAB Law Firm, LLC requires strong organization and communication skills. Attention to detail is extremely important. Reporting, research, legal administration, litigation knowledge, client relations, organization, planning, attention to detail, confidentiality, and dependability are all a must.
