The Facilities Group Hawaii (TFG HI) is a combination of two local companies that has provided facilities maintenance services to leading businesses in Hawaii for over 50 years. We provide comprehensive commercial building maintenance and cleaning services, including daily janitorial, carpet cleaning, floor stripping and coating, pressure washing, sanitizing, and building maintenance and repairs.
The Maintenance Technician for TFG-HI will be able to perform a variety of maintenance tasks including drywall patching and repair, painting, furniture assembly and repair, picture hanging, simple plumbing repairs, light bulb replacement, asphalt and concrete repair, and other similar tasks. The successful candidate will be expected to work autonomously and responsibly by observing company procedures and safety guidelines.

Essential knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- Basic knowledge in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, masonry, and carpentry.
- Must be able to work safely, efficiently, and follow specific directions.
- Clear and effective communication skills.
- Self-starter with strong prioritization and time management skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills and high attention to detail.
- Must be able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are highly preferred.

Must be able to:
- Comfortably lift 50 lbs.
- Work outdoors, stand on ladder, push, pull, reach, stoop, stretch, and bend frequently for long periods of time (up to 4 – 8 hours).
- Work nights and weekends
Education and Experience:
- Highschool diploma or equivalent
- Must have some relevant maintenance or construction experience, or have completed relevant coursework in high school, community college, or secondary school.
- May need to drive company vehicles to deliver supplies. Preference will be given to candidates who have a valid driver's license with a clean abstract.
