The Facilities Group National, a leader in the building maintenance services industry, is currently seeking a responsible Janitorial Supervisor to provide service to our customers. This customer is located in Dublin, CA.
Summary
To help manage the shift and assist in the direction of janitorial employees. To ensure the smooth running of operations as well as performs the same duties as the janitorial employees. To ensure customer satisfaction and that target goals and deadlines are met. To ensure that all direct janitorial employees comply with the company's policies and procedures.
Responsibilities / Duties
To take responsibility of the shift in terms of assisting the Manager in ensuring the scope of work gets done
To take responsibility for the quality of work that is produced within the shift
Ensures that the assigned janitorial duties are done properly
Assist the Manager in enforcing work standards for janitorial employees in accordance with company practices
Monitors, measures and reports to the Manager on performance during the shift
To ensure that good communication is given to all janitorial employees
Follows guidelines for proper maintenance of all equipment
Problem solving and troubleshooting skills
To ensure that health and safety rules and regulations are adhered to during the shift and all matters relating to this area are dealt with effectively and efficiently using the resources within the company.
To ensure that the training skills are met for current and future demands of the shift
Maintain housekeeping standards to ensure a clean and safe workplace
Able to make appropriate decisions while following the company's organizational structure
Respond to customer complaints ensuring proper handling to achieve excellent customer satisfaction.
Other duties as assigned by Management.
Qualifications
Must possess a positive attitude and work well with other team members
Must be able to work unsupervised
Must have good verbal and written communication skills; Must be bi-lingual
Must be able to follow direction and ask questions for clarification, if needed
Some knowledge of computer applications (Word, Excel, Outlook), desired
Authorized to work in the U.S. - We Use E-Verify
Extraordinary Work Conditions
Must maintain regular and reliable attendance at a level acceptable to the company, including the ability to work overtime, holidays, evenings or weekends as necessary.
Must be capable of working outdoors on job sites as needed.
Must be able to work in extraordinary weather conditions (snow, refrigerated warehouse and freezer)
Compensation& Benefits :
Hourly Rate : $18.50
