General Summary:
The Agricultural and Commercial Lending Officer is responsible for assisting business owners and agricultural businesses with their financing needs. Consults with prospects and customers to discuss business and financial plans and makes recommendations to meet needs.
Skills and Abilities:
Decision making and analytical skills are required to successfully perform the approval, servicing, and maintenance responsibilities of this position. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills must be exhibited to positively represent the bank to customers. The ability to conduct thorough credit analysis of potential borrowers, including ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial statements, credit histories, cash flow projections and business models. Working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Word and Excel required. Accurate keyboarding and data entry skills required for correspondence.
Bachelors Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, or related field, or equivalent work-related experience required. MLO registration must be secured and maintained within six months of hire. 3-5 years’ commercial lending experience strongly preferred.
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; see, talk, and hear. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch; lift and/or move office products and supplies up to 20 pounds; and conduct on-site visits to various customer locations.
This job operates in a professional office environment. The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, scanners, filing cabinets, and fax machines. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

The anticipated base annual salary range for this position is $50,000-75,000. The base salary will be determined by factors including but not limited to experience, credentials, education, certifications, and skill level required for the position. Actual base salary offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
