Job Description
The Banquet Barback is required to set up and break down all bar set-ups as requested by guests.
- Replenish wine, liquor and beer as requested by bartenders.
- Replenish glassware and garnished as requested by bartenders
- Bus all used glassware during functions to maintain cleaned and tidy appearance in function and meeting rooms.
- Assist in preparing drinks in absence of bartender.
- Open multiple bottle of wine for banquet dinner service as instructed by bartender
- Inventory control of glassware
- Break down all bar set-ups, returning wine, beer, liquor and soda to locked storage.
Qualifications
- Heavy work - Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 50 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
- Knowledge of banquet protocol.
- Able to speak and read English fluently.
- Thorough knowledge of wine, liquor, and beer.
- Knowledge of inventory control.
- Familiarity with cocktail ingredients.
