Job Description
At Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, ensuring the safety and well-being of our Colleagues, guests and visitors is an integral part of our operations. As an Engineering Tech your attentiveness, efficiency and commitment will ensure your hotel remains a safe, enjoyable workplace and travel destination.
Reporting to the Director of Engineering, Operations, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
- To maintain and repair various pieces of laundry equipment.
- Complete all PMs and maintain proper records
- Adhere to all OSHA regulations
- May be required to work in other areas such as kitchens or HVAC or where needed
- Mechanical or PLC experience preferred
- Electrical and/or automation troubleshooting skills
- Follow department policies, procedures and service standards
- Follow all safety policies
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a Maintenance role required
- Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications not required but helpful
- Must have electrical, plumbing and basic maintenance skills
- Must be able to read, write, speak English fluently
