Join a growing and dynamic team! The Faison Center, one of Virginia's premiere providers of services to adults and children with autism, is seeking an experienced HR professional to support our recruitment efforts and workers' compensation program.
We are looking for a Senior Human Resources Business Partner to join our team and play a crucial role in cultivating a positive and productive workplace culture.
This role will create and implement strategies to promote the overall employee experience that promotes employee engagement, professional development and overall satisfaction of being a part of the Faison Organization. This role contributes to organization performance by providing tactical and strategic consulting on people and organization development strategies in support of business objectives and the mission of The Faison Center.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with HR peers to develop solutions, programs and policies.
- Evaluates issues, patterns, and trends to provide proactive insights for HR solutions and program designs i.e. training to address certain needs.
- Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention.
- Briefs HR recruiting personnel about staffing needs and provides feedback about recent hiring successes and challenges.
- Partners with the Director of Human Resources and other appropriate Faison leaders to grow the capacity of the organization’s key talent to include high potential identification.
- Identifies training needs for teams and individuals.
- Suggests new HR strategies.
- Consults with managers/supervisors and provides daily HR guidance.
- Utilizes data-driven reports to track and analyze the effectiveness of employee experience initiatives.
- Oversees onboarding processes to ensure a positive experience for new hires.
- Collaborates with Employee Engagement Coordinator to create strategies to promote employee engagement and satisfaction.
- Oversees the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, selecting, and onboarding candidates.
- Utilizes various recruiting tools and platforms, including social media, job boards, networking events, and employee referrals, to source quali?ed candidates.
- Builds and maintains relationships with external recruitment agencies, educational institutions, and professional networks.
- Acts as a trusted advisor and partner to managers and employees, providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Collaborates with department heads to understand business needs and align HR strategies with organizational goals.
- In collaboration with the Director of Human Resources, facilitates employee relations issues and resolves con?icts in a fair and consistent manner.
- Ensures compliance with all local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Ability to understand, evaluate, and make judgments on proposals (RFPs). Knowledge of Workers Compensation, OSHA compliance, employee safety and strong knowledge of talent acquisition background. Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in human resources, with a focus on Workers' Compensation and Recruitment.
- In-depth knowledge of Department of Labor laws and other pertinent regulations.
- Proven experience managing full-cycle recruitment and talent acquisition processes.
- Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment law, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in HR soft ware and tools, including Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HRIS.
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.

Salary : $65,000 - $70,000
