What are the responsibilities and job description for the Seasonal Campground Maintenance and Grounds Supervisor position at The Falls Campground?
The Falls Campground is seeking a hardworking and reliable Maintenance and Grounds Supervisor for the upcoming season (now through November) that can lead and manage a team of workers to ensure our campground remains clean and safe. This role involves performing routine maintenance, landscaping, repairs, and general upkeep of the grounds and facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Grounds Maintenance - Mow lawns, trim trees, remove litter and maintain grounds.
Facility Maintenance - Repair minor plumbing, electrical, and structural issues.
Infrastructure Management - Monitor water, septic and electrical systems.
Equipment Maintenance - Maintain and repair landscaping tools and machinery.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in groundskeeping and maintenance, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in horticulture, landscaping, or a related field is a plus.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage a team and work collaboratively with the front office.
- Ability to operate and maintain groundskeeping equipment and perform routine maintenance and repairs.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact with guests, staff, and vendors in a professional manner.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
