- Manage, maintain, and administer SAP BusinessObjects environment including user and group management, troubleshooting, and server monitoring.
- Implement and maintain robust security measures for SAP BusinessObjects including content, folder, application, and access levels.
- Install, configure, and upgrade SAP BusinessObjects and components.
- Customize and configure SAP BusinessObjects applications to meet client requirements, including report scheduling, content migration using promotion tool and Jenkins automation tool.
- Facilitate design and develop processes utilizing best standards.
- Develop solutions in accordance with client specifications.
- Conduct research and analysis to create innovative solutions.
- Train, direct, and mentor technical and process teams.
- Communicate effectively in written and verbal communication coupled with strong listening skills.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and 6-8 years of experience or Master’s Degree and 4-6 years of experience.
- At least 5 years of SAP BusinessObjects 4.x software and components experience.
- Must have experience in SAP BO User and Group management and overall security.
- Data Access tool experience - BO upgrade to 4.x.
- Familiarity with ETL tool such as Data Services promotion and migration.
- Strong understanding of business and technical processes to formulate and develop new and modified business information processing systems.
- Experience eliciting and documenting functional, technical, and performance requirements.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate complex technical ideas to audiences with varied technical backgrounds.
- Experience crafting and coordinating official correspondence.
- Ability to analyze business cases, extract requirements, and understand business needs.
- Excellent administrative / organizational abilities.
- Must have a current, active Top Secret (or higher) clearance. Interim clearance acceptable.
- Develop and maintain Java SDK-based solutions for SAP BusinessObjects, including custom applications, extensions, and integrations with other systems.
- Experience researching new technology for inclusion / use on customer programs.
- Prior work experience in a fast-paced, government environment.
- Experience using SAP Business Objects tools such as Web Intelligence.
- Proficient with data modeling, ETL processes, and SQL queries.
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
