We are seeking a dedicated Client Engagement Specialist to join our team and help ensure clients receive the care and resources they need for their well-being.
Job Summary:
The Client Engagement Specialist will serve as the first point of contact for individuals seeking services, providing support throughout the intake process and helping clients connect to the right services. You will work closely with clinical teams to ensure clients feel supported, engaged, and connected to the resources they need to thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the first point of contact for clients, offering guidance and support to encourage engagement.
- Assist with the intake process and help clients understand available services.
- Monitor and follow up with clients to ensure ongoing engagement and retention.
- Help clients connect with community resources like housing, employment, and healthcare.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure a coordinated approach to care.
- Advocate for clients to ensure their needs are met, demonstrating cultural competence.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions and engagement efforts.
- Participate in program development and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree (Bachelor’s preferred) in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in a client-facing role in healthcare, behavioral health, or social services.
- Experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds is highly preferred.
- Strong communication skills and ability to motivate clients.
- Knowledge of behavioral health systems and community-based resources is a plus.
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload and handle complex situations effectively.
