Accounts Payable Coordinator
Position Summary
The Accounts Payable Clerk will be responsible for monitoring the outflow of capital for the company.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Receives and verifies expense reports; reconciles expense and other financial reports with account balances and other office records.
- Responsible for SAP weekly bill payment review and coding.
- Facilitates payment of vendors, which may include verification of federal ID numbers, and resolving discrepancies.
- Ensures outstanding obligations are credited upon payment and stop-payment orders are issued as needed.
- Assists with accounting records and ledgers by reconciling monthly statements and transactions.
- Records entry of, verifies documentation for, and distributes petty cash.
- Generate and distribute weekly and monthly vendor check payments.
- Assist with annual audit requests.
- Generate and distribute accurate 1099's at year end.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Contacts : Engage with program managers, vendors, external funders and auditors to establish a professional relationship.
