Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be responsible for processing and managing all accounts payable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. This is a vital role within our organization, as you will play a key part in maintaining financial records and ensuring the smooth operation of our accounts payable process.
Duties:
- Process accounts payable invoices, including coding, data entry, and verification
- Review and reconcile vendor statements
- Prepare and process payments to vendors
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts payable records
- Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to invoices or payments
Experience:
- Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and procedures
- Proficient in using accounting software and systems
- Familiarity with financial concepts and principles
- Knowledge of account reconciliation techniques
Skills:
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient computer skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Job Type: Full-time Monday through Friday
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
