What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pet Groomer position at The Farm at Natchez Trace?
The Farm at Natchez Trace is a locally owned luxury pet resort for dogs and cats, located in Franklin, TN on Hwy 96 (close to Bellevue & Fairview). We are currently looking for an experienced Part-time Pet Groomer to join our compassionate animal-loving team! We're looking for someone available to work between 3-4 days per week (Friday thru Monday)
Pay is 50% commission, plus tips. W-2 employee. We offer excellent discounts on our product & services.
We're a busy salon and take pride in excellent work, a safe and clean work space, and a drama free environment. We use natural, specially selected products, and creating a positive experience for the pet is our main priority.
Must be proficient in all breeds and sizes (up to 200 pounds) and able to apply proper breed profiles and make a dog look its personal best. We do not cage dry, so you must have excellent hand drying skills (Stand dryer and high quality HV driers available), hand scissoring and ability to execute haircuts of longer lengths required. We pride ourselves in having an extensive "doodle" clientele base and our team has mastered the "doodle clip". So, working with long coated doodles on a daily basis is highly likely. We're seeking a team player with a positive attitude, a gentle hand, and great customer service skills. Must have your own tools. We provide receptionists, so you can focus on grooming.
