What are the responsibilities and job description for the Equine Retail Sales Associate position at The Farm House?
The Farm House Tack Shop is hiring for Retail Sales Associates in our Landrum, SC location. We are expanding and need you! We are a retail provider for equestrians that ride in a range of disciplines consisting of Hunters, Jumpers, Dressage, Eventing, Trail and more. We offer a range of inventory from basic barn essentials to show ring attire. If The Farm House can't find a product for a customer then nobody can.
This position helps customers shop within the store, checks them out on the Point of Sale system and bags and wraps their items. If we don't have something they need you will work with our other store location in Landrum, SC to obtain or order the item. You will also need to keep the store clean, organized, and do merchandizing. At times you will interact with employees at our different locations via phone, email and possibly in person. Must be able to stand and walk most of the shift.
The ideal candidate will have some retail sales and horse experience, be reliable, respectful, a team player and be comfortable communicating and working with a variety of personalities. We need you to have excellent telephone etiquette, and computer knowledge.
