About Us:
The Farm House Tack Shop has a full-time opening in the E-Commerce and Marketing Department at our Landrum, SC location. We are a growing retail provider for equestrians in a range of disciplines. We offer a range of inventory from basic barn essentials to show ring attire. If The Farm House can't find a product for a customer then nobody can.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to oversee the day-to-day content creation and implementation for blog, social media, email, and text communications for our Marketing and E-Commerce department. The ideal candidate will be organized, creative, and a team player. Horse savvy is a plus, but not required!
Key Responsibilities:
Content creation:
- Plan and execute high-quality email, SMS, video, and blog content as needed
- Set up and operate iPhone camera for short-form video, audio interviews, and candid photography for use on social media
- Post content directly to Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and TikTok using brand voice and best practices
- Edit photos and videos using industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Premiere Rush, and CapCut).
- Assist in the creation of visual content for social media, website, and marketing materials
- Write social media captions, blogs, emails, scripts, and more based on independent research, expert interviews, and existing brand assets
Project Management:
- Assist in the creation of content calendars for social media, emails, and blogs
- Communicate needs, ideas, and deadlines internally with managers and externally with marketing partners
- Provide edits to content created by external marketing partners
- Identify areas for improvement in internal and external marketing plans and systems
- Work closely with Marketing and E-Commerce director to execute content ideas, including day-of needs
Data Entry:
- Maintain accurate product information in our database.
- Assist with product descriptions and layout
Teamwork & Collaboration:
- Work effectively within a small team environment, collaborating with marketing, sales, and other departments
- Contribute to creative brainstorming sessions and offer innovative ideas. Proactively identify and resolve challenges
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in social media, blog, and email content writing
- Proven experience scheduling content for a brand
- Experience working with spreadsheets, Google, project management applications, and other organizational tools
- Strong understanding of project management, organization, and marketing plans
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Shopfiy, and email marketing tools
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- A proactive and problem-solving approach to work

This is an on-site, full-time role. The workday is 9:00AM-5:00PM.
