The Farm House Tack Shop has a full-time opening in the E-Commerce and Marketing Department at our Landrum, SC location. We are a growing retail provider for equestrians in a range of disciplines. We offer a range of inventory from basic barn essentials to show ring attire. If The Farm House can't find a product for a customer then nobody can.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Photography & Design Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role will be instrumental in showcasing our products through high-quality photography and videography, while also supporting our marketing efforts with basic graphic design tasks and data entry. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a strong work ethic and a passion for visual storytelling.

The ideal candidate is responsible, organized, and hard-working, with an excellent attitude. Knowledge of horses or the equestrian industry is a plus. Excellent communication skills, outstanding graphic abilities & ability to meet deadlines are crucial to this position as you must work quickly and accurately with other teams and departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Photography & Videography:
• Plan and execute high-quality product photography and short form video content
• Set up and operate lighting, backdrops, and other photography equipment.
• Edit photos and videos using industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, Premiere Pro).
• Create engaging visual content for social media, website, and marketing materials.
• Graphic Design:
• Assist in the creation of basic marketing materials, such as social media graphics, email banners, and simple flyers.
• Utilize design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, InDesign) for basic layout and design tasks.
• Data Entry:
• Maintain accurate product information in our database.
• Assist with product descriptions and layout
• Teamwork & Collaboration:
• Work effectively within a small team environment, collaborating with marketing, sales, and other departments.
• Contribute to creative brainstorming sessions and offer innovative ideas.
• Proactively identify and resolve challenges.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in product photography and videography.
• Strong understanding of lighting, composition, and visual storytelling.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign) is essential.
• Basic graphic design skills with experience in Adobe Illustrator and InDesign (preferred).
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast paced environment.
• A proactive and problem-solving approach to work.
• Portfolio of photography and videography work required.

This is an on-site, full-time role. The workday is 9:00AM-5:00PM.
