Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and preparing delicious beverages in a fast-paced environment. If you have a passion for coffee and enjoy creating memorable experiences for customers, we would love to hear from you.

What You’ll Do:

• Brew Magic: Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.
• Dial In: Perfect the art of dialing in the grinder for the perfect espresso shot every time.
• Serve Smiles: Take orders and serve our full breakfast, lunch, and brunch menu with a side of friendliness.
• Spread Cheer: Greet and interact with our guests, making each visit a delightful experience.
• Master the Register: Operate the cash register and handle transactions with ease and a smile.
• Keep It Clean: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area.
• Be a Team Player: Work alongside our awesome crew to ensure smooth operations during peak hours in our full-service restaurant.
• Can-Do Attitude: Tackle any task with enthusiasm and a smile, no matter how big or small.
• Follow Guidelines: Adhere to health and safety guidelines for food handling and preparation.
• Restock: Assist with restocking supplies as needed.

Experience:

• Previous experience in food service or the coffee industry is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and beverage preparation.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing.
• Familiarity with Toast POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.

Skills:

• Food Preparation: Knowledge of proper food handling techniques and ability to prepare beverages according to recipes.
• Customer Service: Ability to provide friendly, efficient, and personalized service to customers.
• Math: Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing.
• Food Industry: Familiarity with health and safety regulations in the food industry.
• Food Handling: Understanding of proper food handling procedures to maintain cleanliness and prevent contamination.
• Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Cash Register: Proficiency in operating a cash register and handling transactions accurately.
• Toast POS: Familiarity with Toast POS or similar point-of-sale systems.
• Food Service: Experience in a food service setting, preferably in a coffee shop or café.
• Sales: Ability to upsell and make recommendations to customers.
