Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Engage with customers to provide recommendations and take drink orders efficiently.
- Monitor customer consumption of alcohol and adhere to responsible serving practices.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the Aloha POS system.
- Assist in inventory management, including tracking supplies and ordering when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff during banquet events to provide seamless service.
- Stay updated on drink trends, brewing techniques, and fine dining experiences to enhance guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service or bartending is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of retail math and basic math skills for accurate cash handling.
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy shifts effectively.
- Familiarity with food safety practices is essential.
- Experience with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of brewing techniques and fine dining standards is an advantage.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with diverse clientele.
