Responsibilities
- Groom dogs according to each pet owner’s preferences, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the process
- Communicate with pet owners to understand their grooming needs and provide expert advice on care
- Notice and report any issues or concerns with pets’ health or grooming needs during the grooming process
- Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, ensure all tools and equipment are sanitized and ready to use
- Communicate with clients to ensure repeat business and a loyal clientele base
Experience
- At least 2 years of professional grooming experience
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects (eg. dogs, equipment), and use the team lift method when needed
- A passion for working with animals and providing top-notch customer service
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
