Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Installation Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of Generac and Kohler generators and equipment. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, a commitment to quality workmanship, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, Electrical experience a plus.
Responsibilities
- Install, test, and maintain equipment according to specifications and industry standards.
- Conduct inspections and troubleshooting of installed systems to ensure proper functionality.
- Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter for testing electrical components and connections.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client questions and concerns during installations.
- Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and service activities.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while performing all duties.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience as an installation technician or similar role is advantageous.
- Proficient in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment, including an ohmmeter.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed for project completion.
