Hotel Equities, a multi-award-winning hotel development and hospitality management company, is currently searching for a remarkable Turndown for The Farnam, Autograph Collection in Omaha, NE.
Job Purpose:
The Turndown attendant will clean, stock, and provide turndown service for guest rooms to ensure cleanliness and guest satisfaction while caring enough to do it well by adhering to our standards. Warm, knowledgeable service and helpful guidance reassure guests they’ve made the right choice to stay with us.
- Excellent customer service skills
- Provide turndown service by partially turning the side facing the door replenishing amenities, linens, and supplies.
- Wipe down the tub and sink area.
- Sign for room keys and restock cart.
- Visually inspect the room for cleanliness and appearance of the room.
- Strip and make beds, change linens.
- Dust all furniture thoroughly.
- Vacuum entire room and empty trash.
- All lost and found articles must be turned in to the supervisor or the Director of Housekeeping.
- Clocking in and out accurately is required as per company policies.
- Respond in a timely manner to guest requests for items and/or other information.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications and Requirements:
High School diploma /Secondary qualification or equivalent.
Experience with Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Wyndham or Hyatt processes and standards.
This job requires the ability to perform the following:
- Respond to any reasonable task as assigned by manager.
- Aid guests in locating other areas of the hotel (walk them to destination if possible).
- Familiarity with parking validation procedures.
- Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions; complete safety training and certifications.
- Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure clean uniform and professional personal appearance; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support team to reach common goals; listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
- Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards; identify, recommend, develop, and implement new ways to increase organizational efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and/or cost-savings.
- Move, bend, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance. Stand or walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift. Requires repetitive motion.
