Job Description:
We are the leading Fire Watch Company in the U.S., providing top-tier, customer-focused fire watch services nationwide. Our mission is to deliver exceptional results at competitive rates for large companies.
We are currently hiring Marine Fire Watch Guards to work on docked vessels in Pascagoula, Mississippi. This opportunity involves relocating to the area and working 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor designated areas for fire hazards and detect potential threats.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and systems to ensure proper functioning.
- Report safety concerns and fire hazards promptly to relevant personnel.
- Maintain accurate logs of activities and incidents during your shift.
- FOLLOW ALL COMPANY SAFETY PROCEDURES TO ENSURE A SECURE WORKING ENVIRONMENT.
Requirements:
- No prior experience is required; however, knowledge of fire safety procedures is beneficial.
- The ability to remain alert and focused throughout your shift is crucial.
- A keen eye for spotting potential fire hazards.
- Clear, concise communication skills for reporting incidents and hazards.
Physical Requirements:
- This job may include physical demands such as seeing, hearing, speaking, writing, occasional reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, sitting, standing for both short and long periods, walking, climbing stairs, and frequent lifting and/or moving of up to 25 pounds.
