Sales Consultant Intern

The Faulkner Automotive Group is looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated Variable Operations Intern to join our team this summer! Variable Operations Benefits, include:

The Variable Operations Intern will spend 13 weeks exploring the different teams that make up Variable Operations. They will start in internet sales and help manage the online sales conducted through a dealerships website. They will assist in generating leads and learning how leads are brought into the dealership to meet with a sales team member. They will transition into sales where they will be taken through the sales process and learn how to meet customer needs, compare vehicles, close a sale, and overcome objections. Last, they will enter Finance where they will learn about financing, aftermarket, protections, and service contracts. They will also learn about the importance of complying with manufacturers and dealership programs. At the end of the program, the Variable Operations Intern will spend a week shadowing a Sales Manager, General Sales Manager, or General Manager.

Internet Sales Coordinator Requirements

• Excellent organizational skills
• Perform consistently to provide customer service experience that outperforms the competitive market
• Ability to substantially contribute to the team to achieve defined organizational goals. Strong communication skills
• Work well in a team environment
