Position Summary:
Assist Supervisor in day-to-day operations of print/mail facility. Provide direction to and follow up work assignments to mail clerks. Process contract mailings to printers by use of computerized databases. Process and transmit daily reports to customers. Keep in daily contact with customers. Act as backup for supervisor. Print and fulfill customer print requests using digital printing equipment. Knowledge of Adobe, graphics software, and fiery is a plus. Knowledge of mail inserters and folders is a plus. Knowledge of Canon 8000 and 750 is a plus. Use and knowledge of FTP sites to upload and download files. Use of Printing finishing equipment such as cutter, coil binding, and wire.
Essential Job Functions:
- Process mailings to Printer equipment for printing via the use of computerized databases.
- Ensure printing and the quality of printing and that mailing is completely processed.
- Ensure folding/inserting operations are maintained and that quality is also maintained.
- Provide electronic status reports to customers daily basis.
- Provide daily affidavits of mailings to customers.
- Provide other such reports as needed to customers informing them of the ongoing status of mailing.
- Respond to customer inquiries either in person, by phone, or by email.
- Provide direction to staff as needed.
- Responsible for the general organization of the facility.
- Look for cost-saving initiatives and recommend process improvements.
- Cross-train staff in all aspects of mail and production.
- Act as a backup to the Supervisor in all functions as needed.
- Printing internal and external print requests using Canon, Konica, Xerox, or other like equipment.
- Experience with mailing equipment such as Pitney Bowes or Neopost devices as used for folding inserting and processing mail.

Education and Experience:
- High Scholl Diploma
- 2 years of college or technical school training in computer and/or business skills.
- 3-5 years experience in Printing and Mailroom environments or equivalent settings.
- Minimum 3 years management experience.
- Excellent computer skills are required.
- Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
- Able to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to assess and provide production improvements.
- To be able to provide cost-effective methods for operational processes.
- Adaptability and flexibility to daily workloads and activities.
- Comfortability with change.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Competent in Mailroom operations
- Competent in logistics assignments for messenger services.
- Knowledgeable in the operation of mailroom equipment such as mail meters, printers, sealers, etc.
- Knowledgeable in vehicle maintenance
- Knowledgeable in US Postal, FedEx, and UPS regulations.
- Possess computer skills with Microsoft Suite
Pay: $24.00 to $25.00 per hour
