Senior Marketing Compliance Specialist
is responsible for review of materials to ensure the bank’s compliance with all applicable banking laws and regulatory requirements.What We Offer : Health, dental, and vision insuranceHSA and FSA plan optionsCompany-paid life insurance7 paid holidaysPaid Time Off that increases with the length of employmentEmployee Assistance Program (EAP) for financial planning, emotional support, legal guidance, and work-life solutionsPartial 401k matchingEmployee appreciation eventsDuties &ResponsibilitiesProvide guidance to sales team and other internal teams while collaborating to problem solve and ensure compliance with company and other regulatory requirements.Maintain up to date knowledge and understanding of government laws, ethics, and compliance reporting and responsibilities.Proactively monitor requests and projects to ensure turn times and quality of review are maintained.Support the development of advertising policies & procedures and interdepartmental guides / training materials.Communicate compliance policies diplomatically with internal teams and collaborate to problem solve in pursuing new business initiatives.Review materials for compliance with applicable state and federal regulations including but not limited to : ECOA, FHAct, FACTA, RESPA, Dodd-Frank Act, MAP Rule, UDAAP, TCPA, etc.Use internal and external resources to gain greater understanding of practices and processes. Examples of resources are meeting with department leaders, communicating with examiners, and conducting researchMaintain current knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations.Interpret existing and emerging regulations and make procedural recommendations.RequirementsCollege degree or equivalent experienceExperience in highly regulated environments, (OCC regulated institutions preferred)3 years in financial compliance or auditFamiliarity with banking laws and regulations, particularly with UDAAP, RESPA, MAP Rule, and fair lending lawsClear understanding of digital marketing vehiclesAdvanced proficiency with Microsoft office, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPointAbility to manage several assignments simultaneouslyAbility to work efficiently and productively independently as well as with othersExcellent time management, organizational, and problem-solving skillsAbility to solve for a variety of compliance and business issues within pressure and time-sensitive periodsAbility to effectively communicate with all levels of bank managementThe Federal Savings Bank is an
