Loader/Warehouse
Reports To: The loader will report to the manager, warehouse lead, or owner
Job Overview:
The loader is responsible for carrying out customer orders in a timely and accurate manner. The loader is also responsible for stocking the store and keeping the warehouse clean and orderly. A successful loader is proficient in the products that The Feed Store offers and wastes no time getting customer orders out the door. The loader is often the last contact a customer has with our store. Because of this, it is vitally important that loaders be friendly and courteous so that our customers leave with a great impression of our store.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Learn and become familiar with The Feed Store's product offering.
- Actively engage customers to help them with their needs.
- Load customers in a timely and accurate manner.
- Stock the store.
- Report any damaged product.
- Keep the warehouse organized and clean.
- Sweep.
- Clean bathrooms.
- Take out the trash.
- Any jobs you are asked to do.
Qualifications:
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. regularly.
- Must be able to communicate well and read and write.
- Must be able to work well with others.
- Must not have any medical issues that would prevent you from fulfilling the job requirements.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to operate forklift and skid steer a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $12.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
