Responsibilities
- Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area while ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met.
- Assist with setting up and cleaning dining areas, including bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness throughout the restaurant.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of meals during peak hours.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest needs and inquiries promptly.
- Support catering operations as needed, ensuring all food items are prepared and presented according to specifications.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods to assist guests effectively.
- Follow all food handling and safety guidelines to ensure a clean and safe dining environment.
- Answering the phone/cashing out takeout orders.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Strong understanding of food handling practices and safety regulations.
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, with a friendly demeanor towards guests and team members.
- Ability to lift and carry trays or food items weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- A positive attitude with a willingness to help others within the team.
