Job Summary: As our first Senior Inventory Planner, you will be instrumental in building the systems and processes that will drive our inventory, sales forecasting, and vendor collaboration. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external vendors to create accurate forecasts, ensuring we have the right products at the right time while optimizing costs. NOTE: This is an in-office position, located in Broomfield, CO.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and implementation of sales projections, inventory planning systems, and vendor forecasts from scratch.
• Collaborate with the buying team to craft a product assortment and purchasing strategy that meets customer needs and business goals.
• Partner with the finance team to align inventory plans with overall business strategies and financial objectives.
• Develop and maintain forecast models for external vendors, working closely with them to ensure alignment on purchasing and production needs.
• Analyze market trends, sales data, and external factors to anticipate demand changes and guide both internal and external purchasing decisions.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels, adjusting forecasts and purchasing strategies as necessary to optimize performance.
• Collaborate with vendors to ensure timely product delivery and adjust forecasts in response to shifts in demand or supply chain constraints.
• Prepare and deliver insights-driven reports and presentations to senior leadership, highlighting opportunities and recommendations.
• Continuously refine planning processes, leveraging Excel and other planning tools to increase accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• 4 years of experience in planning, inventory management, or a related role, preferably in e-commerce or retail.
• Experience in creating and managing forecasts for external vendors and working collaboratively with supply chain partners.
• Strong Excel skills, including the ability to create complex models and analyze large datasets.
• Strong analytical mindset with a proven track record of using data to drive decision-making and improve outcomes.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and with external partners in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing circumstances in a high-growth startup.

• Salary target $80,000 - $120,000 annually depending on experience, stock options, and performance-based bonuses.
