Job Summary:
The Warehouse Manager will oversee either the Receive (Inbound) or Fulfillment (Outbound) operations focusing on all aspects of safety, quality, and productivity of their respective area of the warehouse. Coordinates across the Operations team to appropriately schedule personnel to accommodate daily volume and any needed tasks. Drives a culture of safety in accordance with OSHA guidelines and regulations. Leads a team of warehouse associates and leads, fostering a culture of accountability and development for all things safety, quality and productivity. Utilizes Warehouse Management Software to identify opportunities for continuous improvement, and drives day to day performance. Partners with the Director of Operations to implement long term strategies to achieve future company goals.
Essential Functions:
- Develops weekly schedules for staffing according to daily fulfillment or receive needs
- Participates in weekly reviews of upcoming Marketing Initiatives and fulfillment projects
- Works with the Director of Operations on staffing needs within Operations departments,
- and future hiring needs.
- Trains new staff on warehouse processes, and is comfortable with creating and updating training procedures and training logs.
- Subject matter expert on all warehouse processes within their department
- Oversees the maintenance of warehouse equipment.
- Responsible for cleanliness and upholding proper 5S expectations in the warehouse.
- Monitors warehouse supplies and coordinates with appropriate team member for reorders
Key Job Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with all support teams including Engineering/Maintenance, Purchasing, Quality/Inventory, Human Resources, Marketing to develop plans to meet business objectives
- Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
- Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts
- Work in an environment where the noise level varies and can be loud
- Work in an environment that is subject to variable temperatures and weather
Basic Qualifications
- 2 years of employee and performance management experience within a warehouse environment
- Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
- WMS experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and organized
- Provides leadership and supervision
- Growth mindset that looks forward to overcoming challenges
- Able to prioritize tasks and delegate when appropriate
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience
- Experience managing a team of 20 employees.
- Experience with process improvements (Lean process, Kaizen, and/or Six Sigma)
- Experience with OSHA, 5S, and other warehouse safety/organization guidelines
- Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain/Logistics, or a related field.
- Industry experience in: retail, F&B, military, manufacturing, automotive, biotech, electronics, energy, instrumentation, machinery, defense/aerospace, medical, cosmetics, production or distribution environments.
Pay Range: $75,000 - $95,000
