The Female Quotient (The FQ) is looking for a highly organized, detail-driven, and creative Events Manager to join our Events Team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at managing multiple projects simultaneously, and has a passion for creating meaningful, high-impact event experiences.

The ideal candidate will bring strong event production expertise, strategic thinking, and exceptional client-facing skills, ensuring seamless execution of our Equality Lounge events and special projects. This role requires a hands-on approach to venue management, hospitality, staffing, AV, budgeting, timelines, and live on-site production.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Event Execution & Production : Oversee aspects of event planning and execution, ensuring a high-quality experience before, during, and after events.
  • Project & Timeline Management : Manage multiple projects while keeping timelines, budgets, and execution flawless.
  • Venue & Vendor Coordination : Research, assess, and secure venues; manage relationships with vendors including catering, AV, entertainment, rentals, staffing, security, florists, and other activation partners.
  • Creative Event Vision : Collaborate with internal team members to enhance event concepts, signage, photo moments, and activations.
  • Budget & Operations Oversight : Partner with the finance and partnership teams to manage six-figure budgets, vendor contracts, invoicing, and financial planning.
  • On-Site Production & Live Execution : Ensure smooth on-site production, managing logistics, staff, and real-time problem-solving under pressure.
  • Shipping & Inventory : Lead the process of ordering, shipping, and managing inventory for event supplies and materials.
  • Internal & External Communication : Serve as a key liaison between internal teams, external vendors, and clients to ensure alignment and flawless execution. Lead conversations with clients around bringing brand partnerships to life at our events via weekly calls and emails.

Qualifications & Skills Required :

  • 5-6 years of experience in event production at large-scale conferences or similar settings
  • Proven ability to manage six-figure budgets and work within financial parameters
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage short- and long-term projects simultaneously
  • Creative mindset with a knack for enhancing event experiences and activations
  • Clear, confident communication skills, both internally and with vendors / clients
  • Calm under pressure with strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive, resourceful attitude
  • Flexibility & travel availability (25% minimum) – including evenings and weekends as needed for on-site event execution
