Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Sports Management and Marketing professional. Our managers are responsible for overseeing the overall operations of The Rambler's Sport’s Bar and Grill, ensuring a high level of customer service, managing staff, and maximizing profitability. The individual in this role will be responsible for executing day-to-day management and marketing tasks. This includes overseeing profitability, managing labor costs, while working with marketing to develop strategies to increase sales. Assist with promoting sporting events, coordinate with local sports teams and organizations, and engage with customers. The role requires strong communication skills, sports bar restaurant and marketing experience, and a passion for sports.
Responsibilities
- Oversee sales and profitability growth
- Oversee the day-to-day operations and sales of the sports bar, inclusive of but not limited to managing the FOH and BOH, opening and closing procedures.
- Develop and execute season marketing strategies with Marketing team to create specials, promote events, and attract sports fans
- Hire, train, and schedule staff to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours. Manage labor costs
- Maintain a high level of customer service by interacting with guests, addressing concerns, and resolving any issues that may arise.
Relevant skills and qualifications that would be beneficial:
- Strong communication, management, and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of sports industry trends and dynamics
- Experience in sports marketing, sports marketing sales, and/or sports bar management a plus
- Three years plus in Sports Bar Management or Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Sports Bar Management a plus
