The Ferraro Law Firm is a growing midsized plaintiff personal injury firm seeking a full-time experienced and dedicated legal assistant. Located in the thriving city district of Brickell, FL.
Qualifications:
- 2-year degree from an accredited college or university or equivalency
- 2 years of legal assistant/ paralegal preferred
- Exceptional computer and typing skills
- Proficient in writing including grammar, spelling and legal style
- Stellar communication skill to enhance the client experience
Must have strong aptitudes in:

- Must be proficient in State and Federal E-Filing
- Flexible with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment

- Must be proficient in Microsoft office with advanced knowledge in Excel
Duties & Responsibilities:
Objectives include, but are not limited to:
- Answering and returning client calls in a timely manner
- Maintain all legal files in the firm’s case management system (Litify)
- Persistent management of attorney’s calendar for appointments regarding client meetings, conferences, trials, hearings, mediations, and deadlines
- Scheduling of client meetings, trials, hearings, depositions, and mediations
- Assisting in the discovery process
- Requesting and interpreting medical records
- Sending, sorting and scanning mail and other correspondences related to case management
- Prepare, edit, assemble and finalize legal documents including deposition notices, subpoenas, mediation and trial notices
