The Ferraro Law Firm is a rapidly expanding mid-sized plaintiff personal injury firm actively seeking a highly enthusiastic and dedicated fulltime individual as a Lien Resolution Specialist. Our firm is conveniently located in the vibrant Brickell financial district of Miami, Florida.
The Lien Resolution Specialist is responsible for managing and resolving Medicare liens for clients involved in personal injury settlements. This position requires a thorough understanding of Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) regulations, as well as strong analytical and communication skills to negotiate and finalize lien amounts.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalency.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in lien resolution, claims management, or related tasks.
- Experience with CMS and Medicare lien processes is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to negotiate effectively and professionally.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- General knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and the internet required.

Duties & Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Process lien request based on in-depth knowledge of CMS regulations and Medicare Secondary Payer (MSP) rules.
- Understanding of personal injury law and settlement processes to negotiate final lien amounts.
- Communicating directly with clients and/or relatives with status updates on a regular basis.
- Reviewing and analyzing medical records for appropriate execution.
- Data entry of critical claim information into multiple electronic databases.
- Responsible for accuracy and completion of assigned files to increase division efficiency.
- Relentless dedication to the overall progress of the claim lifecycle to ensure reasonable execution of liens.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
Work Location: This role is based in-office.
