The Fields Sports Complex is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Indoor Soccer Camp Staff. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for creating a fun and engaging environment for children aged 6-13 during our indoor soccer camps. You will play a crucial role in running soccer-related activities both on and off the field, fostering skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship among camp participants.
Our camp runs Monday through Friday starting June 23nd until August 29th.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead and facilitate indoor soccer activities, drills, and games tailored to different age groups and skill levels.
2. Supervise and ensure the safety of camp participants during all activities.
3. Assist in organizing and setting up equipment and materials needed for each activity.
4. Provide encouragement, guidance, and constructive feedback to campers to help improve their soccer skills and confidence.
5. Promote a positive and inclusive atmosphere where all campers feel welcome and valued.
6. Serve as a role model for campers by demonstrating good sportsmanship, teamwork, and respect for others.
7. Assist with administrative tasks such as check-in/out procedures and attendance tracking.
8. Collaborate with other camp staff to plan and coordinate special events and off-field activities.
9. Communicate effectively with campers, parents, and fellow staff members to address any concerns or issues that may arise.
10. Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of indoor soccer facilities and equipment.
Qualifications:
1. Previous experience working with children in a sports or camp setting is preferred.
2. Strong knowledge of soccer rules, techniques, and strategies is preferred but not a must.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to engage and motivate children of varying ages and skill levels.
5. Enthusiasm for working with youth and fostering their personal growth and development.
6. CPR and First Aid certification a plus..
7. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
8. Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and camp activities.
9. Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
